Description
Training of facilitators consists of a three-day workshop. During this workshop, facilitators receive a therapist manual with the latest theory on bullying. They also receive a complete 10-session group programme with a step-by-step guide to activities.
Training gives an overview of the latest theory of bullying dynamics. It also takes a closer look at the necessary skills that youth need to address bullying. Practical ways to teach these skills in therapeutic groups are explored and discussed.
Bullying is viewed as a situational stressor that may result in mental health challenges for all parties involved. The reason behind the development of this program was the mere fact that Bullying has become a huge problem among school children and has far-reaching effects on a child’s psyche and emotional well-being. In this program, the founders aim to empower children to become
resilient against Bullying. This program is aimed at the “Bullies”, “Bystanders” and “Victims of Bullying”.
